Today SanDisk have introduced a new line of wireless storage devices, ‘SanDisk Connect’. These new storage devices make storing and sharing your content much easier and you don’t have to worry about wires or an internet connection!
Many times I have been in a situation when I have needed more space on my camera or iPod and not been able to free anything up to take more pictures or buy more music. Now with the ‘Wireless Flash Drive’ and ‘Wireless Media Drive’ you will not run out of space.
Wireless Flash Drive
The SanDisk Wireless Flash Drive is the same size as standard flash drives and weighs not much more, but you can do so much more. You will still be able to do the same as with a regular flash drive but you will also be able to wireless mobile access to your movies, photos, music, and documents from anywhere in the house or on-the-go and without an internet connection.
The Wireless flash drive provides up to four hours of streaming each charge and connects to eight devices at the same time. You will be able to store, share, and stream files on an iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, Kindle Fire and Android devices.
It is wireless password protected and there are apps available to make access easier. They come in a 16GB or 32GB capacity and have a rechargeable battery. Why not keep all of your favourite content in your pocket!
Wireless Media Drive
Like the Wireless Drive the SanDisk Media Dive has you in mind. Being able to store and share your content is part of life and being able to do this without an internet connection anywhere makes it all the more appealing.
The Media Drive is pocket sized but big in space and opportunities. You will be able to store and stream high-definition movies, photos, and music on tablets, smartphones, or computers.
With eight hours streaming time the Media Drive is built for heavy duty use. The Media Drive has a 32GB or 64GB capacity but it also has an SDHC/SDXC card slot to create a larger storage space and for instant sharing.
Keeping everyone happy at the same can be difficult but with the Media Drive you can Stream five different HD movies simultaneously, I think this would solve the problem.
It also has password protection and works with iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, Kindle Fire, and Android devices. As with the Flash drive you can also download an app to access the Media Drive and it is also rechargeable to make life easier.
The prices for the UK have not yet been released but will be available later in the year. We look forward to trying them out.
